    1 (16-ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and well drained
    1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
    1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
    2 tablespoons chopped green onions
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1 egg white or 2 tablespoons cholesterol-free egg product
    4 whole wheat hamburger buns, split
    Horseradish Sauce
    4 slices tomato
    4 lettuce leaves

    HORSERADISH SAUCE

    1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
    2 teaspoons prepared horseradish

    Spray 10-inch nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray

    Mash beans in medium bowl. Mix in cheese, bread crumbs, onions, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, salt and egg white.

    Shape into 4 patties. Cook in skillet over medium heat about 10 minutes, turning once, until light brown.

    Serve on buns with Horseradish Sauce, tomato and lettuce.

    4 servings

    HORSERADISH SAUCE
    Mix all ingredients.
