    Creamed Tuna Fish on Toast

    1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna fish (do not drain)
    1 can evaporated milk
    flour and water for thickening
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 cup peas (optional)
    Buttered Toast

    Put undrained tuna, evaporated milk and peas (if desired) in a saucepan. Heat still steaming (not boiling) over medium heat. Mix flour and water as you would for gravy thickening (how much you use depends on how thick you want it). Pour into tuna and milk and stir constantly to desired thickness. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve over hot buttered toast.
