    2 tablespoons vegetable oil,
    2 cups diced onions,
    3 cloves minced garlic,
    2 pounds lean ground beef,
    2 tablespoons chili powder,
    1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon,
    1/4 teaspoon ground cloves,
    1 teaspoon cumin seed,
    1/2 teaspoon powdered mustard,
    1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg,
    1/2 teaspoon paprika,
    2 teaspoons salt,
    2 6-ounce cans tomato paste

    Recipe



    1. heat vegetable oil in large pot, add onions and garlic, saute
    2. add beef, break up lumps, sprinkle in remaining spice, brown all the beef
    3. add tomato paste, bring to simmer
    4. add about a cup of water, cover, simmer for 4 hours.
    5. for best results, cool and refrigerate overnight, heat it up the next day.
    6. eat plain, or do it the Cincinnati way and put on spaghetti and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
