    Chili Con Carne with Tomatoes

    1 pound ground beef
    2 medium onions, chopped (about 1 cup)
    1 cup chopped green pepper
    One 1-pound, 12-ounce can tomatoes
    One 8-ounce can tomato sauce
    2 teaspoons chili powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon cayenne red pepper
    1/8 teaspoon paprika
    One 15.5-ounce can kidney beans, drained

    Cook and stir ground beef, onion and green peppers in large skillet until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients except kidney beans. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat: cover and simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally. (Or cook uncovered 45 minutes). Stir in beans: heat.

    Serves: 4 or 5 (about 1 cup per serving)
