    1 1/4 pounds bulk Italian sausage
    1 large green bell pepper -- coarsely chopped (1 1/2 cups)
    1 large onion -- coarsely chopped (1 cup)
    2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans Italian-style stewed tomatoes -- undrained
    1 (15-ounce) can garbanzo beans -- rinsed and drained (15 to 16 ounces)
    1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
    1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese -- (4 ounces)

    Recipe



    Cook sausage, bell pepper and onion in Dutch oven over medium-high heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sausage is no longer pink; drain.

    Stir in tomatoes, beans and tomato sauce. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until hot. Sprinkle each serving with cheese.
