    MAKES A GREAT BREAKFAST

    List of Ingredients





    12 slices of firm white bread, crust
    removed
    1 lb. cheddar cheese, grated
    1 cube butter or margarine
    2 c. ham of Canadian bacon, cubed
    6 eggs, beaten
    3 c. milk

    Recipe




    Butter both sides of bread. Make first layer on bottom of 9"x13" pan. Top with 1/2 cheese and 1/2 ham. Make second layer with remaining slices of bread, sprinkle cheese and ham on top. Pour egg and milk mixture over the top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered 45 to 60 minutes (until brown and middle is firm) at 350 degrees. Let stand 10 minutes. Cut and serve. Serves 6 to 8.
