    4 1/2 c. thinly sliced lettuce,
    lightly packed
    3 c. cooked roast beef, shaved or
    chopped
    1 1/2 c. grated med. cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 c. diced tomatoes
    6 tbsp. salad dressing or mayonnaise
    3/4 tsp. horseradish
    3/4 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 tsp. onion powder
    Sprinkle of salt
    Sprinkle of pepper
    4 pita bread, halved crosswise

    Recipe




    Put lettuce, beef, cheese and tomato in bowl. Add more cheese, if desired. Mix salad dressing, horseradish, mustard, onion powder, salt and pepper in small bowl. Pour over meat mixture; toss. Gently open pita along cut side. Divide filling among 8 pita halves. Serves 4.
