    List of Ingredients




    1 pkg. (8 oz.) brick cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup sour cream
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    12 blades fresh chives, chopped
    dash Tabasco sauce
    1/4 red bell pepper, finely diced
    2 cans (6-1/2 oz. ea.) crab meat, drained
    pinch coarse salt
    slivered almonds, a handful (available in small packets on baking aisle) toasted till golden

    Serve with:

    melba toast
    party rye bread slices
    snap peas, blanched
    cauliflower florets
    carrot sticks
    celery sticks
    cherry tomatoes, red or yellow


    Recipe



    Mix everything except almonds in bowl really well. Transfer to serving dish and chill until ready to serve.

    To serve, cover the top of serving dish with slivered toasted almonds and surround with melba toast, party rye bread slices, blanched snap peas, cauliflower florets, carrot and celery sticks, and red or yellow cherry tomatoes.
