    Houston's Spinach Artichoke Dip

    List of Ingredients





    2 pkgs frozen chopped spinach
    1 1/2 can artichokes (chopped and strained)
    1 chopped onion
    1 stick of butter
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    salt/pepper to taste
    8 oz cream cheese
    8 oz shredded monterey jack cheese
    4 oz shredded/grated swiss cheese
    4 oz shredded mozzerella cheese
    4-6 oz heavy whipping cream
    4 oz shredded parmesan cheese

    Cook spinach according to package....drain and set aside. Saute chopped onion in one stick of butter until tender. With a beater/mixer, beat cream on medium speed and gradually: fold in cream cheese, until it forms a creamy mixture. Mix all the above ingredients (EXCEPT for the parmesan cheese), adding the salt, peppers, onion and garlic powder to your taste preference. Put in fridge for at least 2 hrs. (the longer the better). Top dip w/ the shredded parmesan cheese and heat in the microwave for about 5mins. (or until it's hot and the cheese is melted).
