Idelle's Hot Crab Dip

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature
1 can (6 1/2 ounces) crab meat, drained
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon cream-style horseradish
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
1/3 cup slivered almonds
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 or 375 degrees.
In bowl, combine all ingredients but almonds and mix well. Pour into greased 6-by-6-inch casserole dish or baking pan. Top with almonds. Bake in preheated oven 30 minutes at 350 or 15 to 18 minutes at 375, until heated through. Remove from oven while still hot and serve with crackers. Makes about 8 appetizer servings.
