    Bang Bang Shrimp

    List of Ingredients

    1. Devein and peel (leaving tails on) about 2 # of shrimp (I use 16/20 per pound).
    2. Dredge in a mix of flour and cornmeal seasoned with salt and pepper
    3. Deep fry quickly in 2-3 inches of hot oil
    4. Drain on absorbent paper towels
    5. Toss immediately in bowl with just enough Chile Aiole Sauce to cover each piece
    6. Serve on bed of finely chopped iceberg or cabbage, and sprinkle shrimp with chopped chives or green onions


    Chile Aiole Sauce
    Mix with about 2/3 cup of mayo to taste. I used about
    Lemon Juice (1 T)
    Vietnamese Hot Chili Sauce 1-2 Tsp.
    (bright orange not Chili paste)
    also called "Tuong ot Sriracha"
    Sweet Thai Sauce 1-2 Tsp.
