    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 c flour
    2 t cornstarch
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1 tsp dried parsley
    1 tsp onion powder
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp white pepper
    3 lbs squid, cleaned and cut in 1/2" rings
    peanut oil for frying

    Recipe



    Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Dredge the squid in the mixture.
    Fill a large deep pot with 3 to 4" peanut oil and heat to 375. Add calamari in batches to avoid crowding and cook 1 1/2 minutes or until golden brown. Remove with slotted spoon.
