    List of Ingredients

    4 oz linguine pasta
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
    2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
    2 TBsp butter
    1 red bell pepper, sliced
    1 green bell pepper, sliced
    4 fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 green onion, chopped
    1 cup heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon each of dried basil, lemon pepper, and salt
    1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    Recipe

Bring a large pot of light salted water to a boil. Add a bit of olive oil as you like, to prevent sticking. Dump in the linguine.
Place the chicken and the cajun seasoning in a large plastic bag, and shake until coated. (I diced the chicked first.) Then, in a large skillet, sautee the chicken in the butter for about 5-7 minutes, until tenderness begins.
Add the peppers, mushrooms, and green onions. Saute and heat through 2-4 minutes. Reduce heat to med low.
Add cream, all remaining spices, and heat through thouroughly. Stir and reduce the liquid a bit. Not too much is a key.
Drain the linguine, DONT run cold water over it. Add the cooked linguine to the chicken mixture. Toss this and heat it through. After that, sprinkle on some grated Parmesan, and serve
