    Zesty Cranberry Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    1 bag (12 oz.) fresh or frozen cranberries
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1/3 cup water
    1/3 cup orange juice
    2 teaspoons grated orange peel
    1/8 teaspoon cinnamon


    Recipe



    1. Combine all ingredients in a large skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until cranberries begin to pop, about 8 to 10 minutes.
    2. Remove from heat and let cool. Serve chilled or at room temperature. (Sauce thickens as it cools.) Makes 2-1/2 cups.
