    CHRISTINE'S CHOCOLATE CAKE

    List of Ingredients


    • CAKE LAYERS
    • 2 boxes of moist butter cake mix
    • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
    • FUDGE ICING
    • 3 cups sugar
    • 1/2 cup cocoa
    • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
    • 3/4 cup milk
    • 2 TBLS vanilla flavoring


    Instructions


    1. CAKE LAYERS: Mix cake according to the directions on the box and add the extra sugar.

    2. Put about 1/4 cup of batter in cake pans to make thin layers...bake about 10 min on 350. Lay out on racks or towels to cool.

    3. FUDGE ICING: Mix ingredients together and boil for 2 minutes.

    4. While icing is still hot, gently put 1 layer of cake on your cake plate and spoon a little icing over cake. Christine use a big spoon like the kind that come with your utensils. Spread icing over the layer and poke holes in the cake with a butter knife so that icing will seep through.

    5. Repeat the icing instructions for the next 9 layers and finish icing the sides of cake. Always poke the holes to the bottom even the layers have already been poked.
