    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. loaf of frozen bread dough, thawed (I make my own fresh bread or pizza dough)
    4 c. mozzarello cheese, divided
    1/12 lbs. lean pork sausage
    1 1/2 t. each dried oregano and fennel seeds, crushed
    3 cans (14 1/2 oz each) plum tomatoes, chopped and drained
    1/2 c fresh sliced mushrooms
    Fresh basil leaves for garnish.

    Grease a 16" x 2 " deep, pizza pan. On flour-dusted surface, roll dough to 16 inch circle. Press into bottom and 1 1/2 " up sides of pan. Sprinkle with 3 c. Mozzarella cheese. Crumble sausage over cheese. Top with oregano, fennel, tomatoes, mushrooms, and remaining cheese. Place in 500 degree oven; immediately reduce heat to 400 degrees. Bake 40-50 minutes. Remove pizza when crust is golden and sausage is cooked through. 8 servings.
