    Mary is a good friend and she told me how to make this good old Southern salad.

    List of Ingredients




    4 TB fired meat grease
    1 cup vinegar
    1 cup water
    4 handfulls of sugar
    salt
    four or five green onions

    Recipe



    Wash lettuce and cut up and add sliced green onions. Sprinkle with salt. Heat all ingredients to a really hot boil and pour over lettuce and stir.
