barbeque - Beef Patties, baked

for the sauce:
3 finely chopped medium onions
3/4 cup catsup
3/4 cup water
2 Tablespoons vinegar
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground paprika

for the patties:
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup oats
2 Tablespoons grated onion
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder

for the sauce:
In sauce pan, mix all sauce ingredients.
Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.

for the patties:
Mix all ingredients except the barbecue Sauce.
Shape mixture into 16 patties.
Place in ungreased baking pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches.
Pour barbecue sauce over patties.
Bake in 350 degree F. oven, uncovered, for 1 hour.
