    Chocolate Tea Bread

    1/4 c. softened butter
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    3/4 c. mini chocolate chips

    Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 8 1/2x4 1/x2 1/2 loaf pan.
    Mix four, cocoa, baking soda and salt together. Set aside.
    Cream butter, sugar and egg in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
    Add dry mix alternately with buttermilk to creamed mix. Beat on low speed just until blended.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Pour into pan.
    Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
    Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
    Slice thinly and serve on platter with tea.
