    Monkey Bread #1, plain, w/biscuits

    Source of Recipe

    from Anita
A simple recipe that looks so beautiful when served.

    Monkey Bread #1, plain, w/biscuits

    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 cup white granulated sugar
4 cans, 10 biscuits per package, refrigerator biscuits
1 cup melted butter, (2 sticks)

    Preheat oven to 350.
Coat a tube or bundt pan with cooking spray.
If you want raisins or nuts, sprinkle in pan now.
Mix the cinnamon and sugar together and set aside.
    Cut the biscuits in 1/4's.
Roll the pieces of biscuit in the sugar mixture until well coated.
Place the coated biscuits on top of the raisins/nuts, in the tube pan.
Mix any left over sugar mixture with the butter and pour over the
    coated biscuits.
    Bake for 28 - 30 minutes.
Remove from oven. Let set to cool slightly, about 5 minutes.
Place serving dish over the top of pan and very carefully, turn over,
so you do not get burned by the hot liquid in the pan.
Let it cool completely. Then slice pieces.
