1 well beaten egg
1/4 cup milk
2 cups biscuit baking mix
2 teaspoons dried parsley
2 cups chopped sweet onions, (2 large)
2 tablespoons butter
1 egg
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
paprika, optional
Recipe
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Grease a 9x9x2 inch square baking pan.
Blend the egg, milk, biscuit mix and parsley together.
Pour into the pan.
Melt the butter and saute the onions until tender and
lightly browned. Spread top of dough in the pan.
Whisk together the egg and sour cream.
Sprinkle with the salt and pepper.
Spread over top of the onions.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Cut into squares.
Sprinkle with a little paprika, and serve.
Makes 6 servings.
