    Recipe Introduction

*This was the first bread recipe that I ever tried. I added an extra
sprinkling of sugar once the dry and wet were combined. The batter was not
runny, I added a extra dash of milk. The batter turned smooth, not runny.
After 35 minutes, I removed it and spread a layer of honey across the top
and cooked it for an additional 6 minutes!

    List of Ingredients

    White Bread, semi sweet

    Dry Ingredients:
    2 cups of unbleached flour
    1/2 cup of sugar
    2 teaspoons of baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon of salt

    Wet Ingredients:
    1 cup of milk
    1 egg, beaten
    2 tablespoons of oil

Mix together the dry ingredients. Stir together the wet ingredients. Combine
the wet and dry ingredients very lightly. The batter will be very runny.
Pour into a greased medium sized loaf pan and bake at 350ºF. for 40 minutes.
Let the bread cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan. Cut it
into thick slices while still warm and serve with sweet butter.
