-disappearing casual or easy dessert/snack.

List of Ingredients
scratch - Fresh Apple Cake
3 medium apples
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Peel apples and cut into small chunks.
Pour sugar over them and let stand 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt margarine.
Add to apple mixture with egg.
Stir.
Add dry ingredients and stir until moistened.
Bake in greased and floured 8" square pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes.
Serve warm or cold, alone or topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
