    scratch - Russian Tea Cakes

    List of Ingredients

    Russian Tea Cakes

    Mix thoroughly:
    1 cup soft butter
    1/2 cup sifted powdered
    ...confectioners sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Sift:
    2 1/4 cup flour
    1/4 teaspoon salt

    Add:
    3/4 cup finely chopped nuts

    Dough will be crumbly. Chill dough.
    Roll into 1 inch balls. Chill again.
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake
    for 10 to 12 minutes.
    While still warm, roll in powdered
    confectioners sugar.
