scratch - Vanilla Wafer Cake

6 eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 cups white granulated sugar
1, 12 ounce box vanilla wafers, crumbled
1 cup soft butter
1, 7 ounce package flaked coconut
1 cup powdered or finely chopped black walnuts

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
Line an angel food cake pan with wax paper and then grease.
Mix all ingredients together until well blended.
Pour into pan and bake for 2 hours, or until tester
comes out clean.
