    scratch - Yellow Cake #2

    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup granulated white sugar
    2 well beaten eggs
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1 cup milk
    2 cups flour
    1, 3 ounce package cook type vanilla pudding
    1 level teaspoon baking soda
    1 level teaspoon baking powder

    Cream sugar and butter and mix well. Stir in eggs
    and vanilla. Stir together dry ingredients. Add to
    sugar mixture alternately with milk. Bake at 325
    degrees F. for 1 hour.
    Grease and lightly flour 1 tube pan or 2, 9 inch
    cake pans.
