    stoveORmicrowave - Cream Cheese Fudge

    Recipe Introduction

    This can also be used on top of a double layer cake.

    List of Ingredients

    stove OR microwave directions listed below -
    Cream Cheese Fudge

    1 12oz. pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips
    1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate
    1/2 c. butter, (1 stick)
    1 lb. box powdered confectioners sugar
    1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese
    (if using the stove top method, put it into a medium sized bowl and let it soften up first)

    STOVE TOP:

    Melt the first three ingredients in a double boiler or over a low direct heat, sitrring frequently, until smooth.
    Slowly stir in the sugar until it is all blended in.
    Pour this mixture into the bowl with the cream cheese and mix until there are no lumps of cream cheese left.
    Pour into a buttered, shallow baking dish and refrigerate until firm.

    MICROWAVE:

    PLace all ingredients into a microwave safe, medium bowl.
    Microwave on 100% power for 1 minute at a time, stirring well after each minute.
    (You must stir after each minute as chocolate holds it shape when microwaved.)
    Once all the chocolate is melted, stir vigorously (or mix on low speed of mixer) until there are no lumps of cream cheese left.
    It will not look as smooth as with the stove top method, but it will taste just as good once it is all set.
    Pour into a buttered shallow baking dish and refrigerate until firm.
