    Crunchy Fudge

    1/4 C. butter
    6 ounces or 1 C. semi-sweet chococlate chips
    1/4 C. corn syrup
    1 t. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 C. sifted confectioners sugar
    2 C. crisp rice cereal

    Into a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter, chips, corn syrup and
    vanilla. Stir constantly until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar until
    well mixted. Add cereal. Stir until evenly coated. Press mixture into 8 inch
    square pan. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares.
