    Pudding Fudge

    1, 3 ounce package cook type pudding, (not instant)
    2 tablespoons butter
    1/4 cup milk
    1 1/2 cups sifted powdered confectioners sugar
    1/4 cup chopped nuts, optional

    Butter an 8x8 inch baking pan.
    Combine the pudding, butter and milk together in a saucepan.
    Bring to a full boil and boil gently for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Quickly blend in the confectioners sugar.
    Add the nuts.
    Pour into baking pan.
    Let cool, then cut into squares.
    Makes 1 pound.
