    Bacon, Hamburger TaterTot Casserole

    Recipe Introduction

    I have made this particular recipe a few times and each time I make it, it seems to taste better than the last time we had it. I made changes to the original recipe and think it has improved the flavor.

    List of Ingredients

    frozen tater tots, partially thawed
    2, 14 1/2 ounce cans French style green beans, drained
    1 1/2 to 2 pounds ground beef
    1/2 pound diced uncooked bacon
    1 medium diced onion,
    ...(or 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
    ...or use onion tater tots)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 beef bouillon cube, broken up
    1, 10 3/4 ounce can cream of celery soup
    milk
    1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350. Use 2 1/2 quart casserole dish.
    Cover the bottom of the dish with tater tots.
    Press down to flatten a little bit.
    Place the green beans on top of the tater tots.
    Slightly brown beef, bacon and onion in a frying pan.
    Sprinkle with salt, pepper and bouillon. Mix together well.
    Pour on top of the green beans and spread out.
    Mix soup and just enough milk together to make of gravy
    consistency. Pour over top of the meat. Spread out evenly.
    Sprinkle with the cheese and bake for 45 minutes - 1 hour,
    until thoroughly heated and the tator tots are done.
    Makes 6 servings.
