    List of Ingredients




    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1 8oz. can tomato sauce
    salt and pepper and other seasonings of your choice
    1 4oz. box elbow macaroni, cooked al dente to pkg. directions, drained
    1 4oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
    1 6oz. container cottage cheese
    1 4oz. container sour cream
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 6oz. bag mozzarella cheese slices

    Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 7x9x2" baking dish.
    Cook the ground beef until it is browned, stirring it to crumble.
    Drain off meat drippings. Sprinkle with the seasonings and stir. Stir in the tomato sauce and simmer about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Combine the cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, and onion. Stir well to combine.
    Now you will be making layers. Start first with 1/2 of the macaroni and spread into the baking dish.
    Use 1/2 of the cheese mixture next and spread on top of macaroni.
    Lay 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese on top of the cheese mixture.
    Layer the other 1/2 of the macaroni and then the other 1/2 of the cheese mixture.
    Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, then place the other 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese on the top and bake for an additional 10 - 15 minutes until the cheese melts or turns a golden color, your choice.
    Makes 4 - 5 servings.
