    Recipe Introduction

When you mix this all up and cook it, it may not look very enticing, but it is addictive. I often get requests for this one. I made this one up years ago when I was living at home and my father would request it every now and then. It always goes over big.

    List of Ingredients

    Hatch Casserole*

1/2 pound elbow macaroni, cooked al dente, drained
    1/2 pound hamburger meat
    1/2 small diced onion
1 tablespoon kitchen bouquet or gravy master
    3 beef bouillon cubes
1, 16 ounce can or more cut green beans
1, 16 ounce cans whole tomatoes, chopped
2, 10 3/4 ounce cans cream of celery soup
    1/4 cup milk
    grated parmesan cheese
    1/4 cup butter, (1/2 stick)

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a dutch oven size pan.(You know, the big one that usually comes with a set of pots and pans.)
Pour noodles into greased pan. Set aside.
Brown meat and onion in a large frying pan.
Add undrained green beans, gravy master and bouillon cubes. Simmer for at least 15 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes and 1 can of soup. Pour into the pan with the noodles, and stir together.
Heat 2nd can soup with milk until smooth. Pour over top, sprinkle with cheese and dot with butter.
Bake until top is golden brown and a bit crunchy. Approximately 30 - 45 minutes.
