6 to 8 potatoes, cooked in their skins, peeled, and sliced
6 to 8 eggs, hard boiled and sliced
Hungarian sausage, sliced (optional)
oil
sour cream
salt
Hungarian paprika
Lightly oil a casserole dish.
Place a layer of sliced potatoes down.
Then a layer of sliced eggs.
Then a layer of the sausage.
Sprinkle with a little oil and salt.
Dab on some sour cream.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Repeat layers, finishing with a layer of potatoes.
Top with salt, oil, sour cream and a good sprinkling of paprika.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes.
Makes 4 servings.
