leftover - Turkey + Stuffing Casserole, overnight
1 box Stove Top stuffing,
...(do not make as package directs)
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup water
4-5 cups cooked chopped turkey meat
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon dried chives
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 medium eggs
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1, 14 1/2 ounce can cream of celery soup
freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Mix stuffing with butter and water.
Press half of it into a greased 9x13x2 inch pan.
Mix turkey, celery, onions, chives, mayonnaise, salt
and pepper together.
Pour over stuffing in pan.
Sprinkle the rest of the stuffing over top.
Beat eggs and milk together.
Pour over top.
Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
1 hour before serving:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Remove from refrigerator, and pour soup over top.
Bake for 50 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 10 more minutes.
