Unstuffed Cabbage Casserole

1 medium cabbage, cut up
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup uncooked rice
Salt and pepper, to taste
10 1/2-ounce can tomato soup
1 soup can of water

Place cabbage in greased baking dish. Brown beef and onion.
Stir in rice, salt and pepper and place mixture on cabbage.
Combine soup and water and pour over all. Cover and bake at
350 degrees F. for 1 hour. Serves 4.
