This is my grandma's recipe for Baked Pot Pie Bows.
This was one of many meals served during the Great
Depression. Recipe can be doubled, easily. I cut it
down to feed my husband and myself.

    Beef PotPie Bow Casserole

    1 pound ground beef
    1 onion - chopped
1 chopped sweet green bell pepper
    2 cups bow pasta (Farfelle)
    2 cups milk
    2 Tablespoon butter
salt and pepper to taste (optional)
1, 10 3/4 ounce can condensed tomato soup

    Brown meat, onions and pepper.
Cook pasta al dente to package directions.
    Drain and set aside.
When meat mixture and pasta are done cooking,
mix all together; along with the milk, butter,
    salt and pepper.
Pour in to a baking dish.
    Bake at 350 degrees F. for 40 to 45 minutes;
uncovered. You want the bow tips to brown a bit.
Heat soup; thin with milk or water (your choice).
If desired you can spoon the tomato soup over the
    top of your individual serving.
