    press/cutout- Crispy Heart Shaped Cookies

    List of Ingredients

    3 tablespoons butter
    4 cups miniature marshmallows
    ...(or 1, 10 ounce package regular marshmallows)
    6 cups regular crisp rice or chocolate crisp rice cereal
    red decorating gel
    red cinnamon candies
    tub premade/canned frosting

    Recipe

    Coat a 15x10 1/2x1 inch baking pan with butter cooking spray.
    Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
    Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
    Remove from heat.
    Add the cereal and stir until well coated.
    Press mixture into the baking pan.
    When slightly cooled, cut into heart shapes using heart shaped cookie cutter.
    Write names on each heart with the red decorating gel.
    Trim the edges with red cinnamon candies, using prepared frosting to hold candies in place.

    Microwave directions:
    In a microwave safe bowl, heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.
    Stir until smooth.
    Add the cereal and stir until well coated.
    Press mixture into the baking pan.
    When slightly cooled, cut into heart shapes using heart shaped cookie cutter.
    Write names on each heart with the red decorating gel.
    Trim the edges with red cinnamon candies, using prepared frosting to hold candies in place.
    Microwave cooking times may vary.

    Note:
    Servings may vary depending on size of cookie cutter used.
    For best results, use fresh marshmallows.
    1 7ounce jar marshmallow cream can be substituted for marshmallows.
    Diet, reduced calorie or tub margarine is not recommended.
    Store no more than two days in airtight container.
