Apple Pickles
2 c. white granulated sugar
1 c. mild vinegar
1/8 tsp. cloves
1 stick cinnamon
2 c. pared and quartered apples
Combine sugar, vinegar, cloves and cinnamon and boil for 5 minutes.
Add fruit and cook until tender.
Pack in clean hot jar/s, leaving 1/4 inch space at top.
Hot water bath for 5 minutes.
Makes 6 servings or 1 jar.
