    Nut Jam

    4 c. powdered or finely chopped nuts
    (walnuts, pecans or other)
    4 c. sugar
    pinch salt
    4 Tbsp. ground ginger
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 sticks butter
    4 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon, optional

    Put in a pan large enough to hold all ingredients and allow
    stirring. Heat in open pan until all ingredients blend and rich,
    golden color.
    Can be canned in a hot water bath for 15 minutes.
