    Cream Cheese Asparagus Sandwiches, rolled

    Cream Cheese Asparagus Sandwiches, rolled

    1 can tall asparagus spears, well drained
    12 slices white bread, crusts trimmed off
    1, 4 ounce package softened cream cheese
    1/2 cup Cheddar cheese
    2 tablespoons of dry Italian dressing mix
    4 pieces cooked bacon, crumbled
    wooden toothpicks
    melted butter

    Blend the cheeses, bacon, and dry dressing until blended.
    Spread the mixture on the bread slices.
    Place an asparagus spear across the middle of the bread.
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    Roll from side to side and fasten with toothpicks.
    Place on a greased pan and top with a little melted butter.
    Cook for 6 - 8 minutes, or until browned.
