    Ethnic - Chicken Tacos

    List of Ingredients

    12, 6 inch diameter taco shells
    1, 1 1/4ox. pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 c. water
    2 2/3 c. cooked chicken, torn or shredded, (1 lb.)
    1 1/2 c. shredded reduced fat Cheddar cheese, (6oz.)
    3/4 c. non fat sour cream
    2 c. shredded lettuce
    1 c. diced tomato
    3/4 c. chopped onion

    Recipe

    Preheat the oven to 350.
    Place taco shells on a baking sheet.
    Combine the taco seasoning and water in a frying pan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add the chicken and simmer 10 - 15 minutes, until most
    of the liquid is absorbed into the chicken.
    Bake the taco shells 5 - 7 minutes, until warm.
    Place 1/4 c. of the chicken mixture in each taco shell.
    Top each with even amounts of cheese, sour cream,
    lettuce, tomato, and onion. Serve immediately.
    Makes 6 servings of 2 tacos, or 12.
