    Dessert - Pineapple/Lime Sorbet

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 c. pineapple puree
    2 tsp. grated lime zest, (can use lemon if do not have the lime)
    3/4 c. freshly squeezed lime juice, (can use lemon if do not have the lime)
    1/4 c. water
    thin slices lime, (again, can use lemon if do not have the lime)

    Recipe

    Stir together in a bowl, the pineapple puree, lime zest and juice, water and, if desired, and sugar substitute.
    If you don't have an ice cream maker, pour into a baking dish and freeze until it is solid.
    Break into small pieces and place in a blender/food processor. Pulse on and off until smooth.
    Store in the freezer until you are ready to serve.
    Or use an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's directions.
    Divide among individual dessert dishes.
    Serve garnished with thin slices of lime.
    Makes 4 servings.
