    Fruit - Pomegranate + Orange Salsa

    List of Ingredients

    1 large navel orange
    seeds from 2 pomegranates
    2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
    3/4 c. finely chopped red onion
    1/3 c. minced fresh cilantro or mint
    1 - 2 jalapeno chile peppers, seeded and minced
    1 clove minced garlic
    1 tsp. olive oil

    Recipe

    Remove orange peel and the white pith and discard.
    Cut between the membranes to remove the orange sections.
    Chop the sections into a bowl.
    Add the pomegranate seeds and the remaining ingredients.
    Stir gently to combine.
    Chill until ready to serve.
    Transfer to a bowl with a plate underneath to help protect your table and serve.
    Makes about 2 cups.
