    PiePastry - Apple Cobbler #1

    List of Ingredients

    3 lbs. sliced apples
    1/2 c. flour
    3 tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt necessary
    1 1/2 c. + 1/4 c. sugar, divided
    1/2 tsp. + 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, divided
    1 lb. refrigerated biscuit dough, separated + each rolled into a tube shape

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 450. Need a 9x13x2" baking pan.
    Combine the apples, flour, lemon juice and salt together in a bowl.
    Add 1 1/2 c. of the sugar and 1/2 tsp. of the cinnamon to the apples and mix well.
    Spoon the apple mixture into the baking dish. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 25 minutes, until the apple mixture is hot and bubbly.
    Cut each dough tube into quarters.
    Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl. Add the dough pieces and toss to coat.
    Remove baking dish from oven and discard the foil.
    Arrange the dough in a single layer over the hot apples. Sprinkle any remaining sugar over top of the dough.
    Bake, uncovered, another 10 - 15 minutes, or until the top is golden.
    Cool slightly before serving.
    Makes 12 servings.
