    Vegetable- Asparagus Parmesan

    List of Ingredients

    10 medium fresh asparagus spears,
    ...well washed and drained, ends cut off
    1 teaspoon Olive oil
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1/2 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    2 thin slices toasted Italian bread

    Recipe

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
    Place asparagus spears in a shallow roasting pan.
    Drizzle with oil and turn to coat.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Bake for 10 minutes or until desired tenderness.
    Place 5 spears on top of a slice of toast on individual
    serving plate and sprinkle with cheese.
    Or place on a serving dish, sprinkle with cheese
    and place the cooked spears on toast later.
    Makes 2 servings.
