    Vegetable - Barbequed Limas

    List of Ingredients

    1, 16 ounce package frozen lima beans
    1/2 onion, thinly sliced
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
    1/2 teaspoon vinegar
    2 tablespoons molasses
    3 tablespoons chili sauce

    Recipe

    Cook the beans according to package directions for 1/2 the amount of times specified.Drain, reserving the cooking liquid. Set both aside.
    Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
    Coat a 1 1/2 quart baking dish, that has a lid, with cooking spray.
    Combine the beans and 1 cup of the reserved liquid with the remaining ingredients.
    Pour into baking dish. Cover.
    Bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Uncover.
    Bake an additional 30 minutes longer.
    Add more of the cooking liquid if the beans seem dry.
    Makes 6 servings.
