Recipe Introduction
This is really good served with cooked spaghetti noodles.
List of Ingredients
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1, 8 ounce can tomato sauce
1/2 pound sliced mushrooms, (or 4 ounces)
1/2 medium chopped onion
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon sugar substitute
Recipe
Coat an 8x8x2 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Place chicken in baking dish.
Mix all other ingredients together and pour over the chicken.
Cover and microwave on high for 9 - 10 minutes.
Turn chicken, recover and cook another 6 - 10 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Rest 8 - 10 minutes, covered, to let it finish cooking.
Makes 4 servings.
