Meat - Chicken in Cream Sauce

List of Ingredients
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
1 tablespoon Olive oil
2 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup canned reduced sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon powdered saffron
6 pieces boneless/skinless chicken, thighs or breasts, (2 pounds)
1/4 cup light sour cream
2 teaspoons dried parsley or cilantro
Recipe
Saute the onion and garlic in oil in a large skillet for
5 minutes, or until tender.
Sprinkle with flour and saute/cook for 1 minute.
Add the broth, wine, thyme, salt, and saffron and mix well.
Add the chicken and lightly mix to coat.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is
tender, turning occasionally.
Place the chicken onto a warm serving platter.
Remove the skillet from heat.
Stir in the sour cream until well blended.
Pour over the chicken and sprinkle with parsley.
