    Vegetable - Easy Chive Potatoes

    List of Ingredients

    1 c. water
    1 1/3 c. instant mashed potato flakes
    1/2 c. low fat buttermilk
    2 tsp. dried chives or 2 tbsp. freshly chopped
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

    Recipe

    Mix the potato flakes, chive and pepper together. Set aside.
    Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.
    Add the milk and stir to heat.
    Stir in the dry ingredients and remove from the heat.
    Cover and let set for approximately 2 minutes.
    Stir with a fork and serve.
    Makes 2 cups.
