    Meat - Smothered Pork Chops

    List of Ingredients

    4 boneless pork loin chops
    1 coarsely chopped onion
    1 10 3/4oz. can condensed cream of celery soup
    1 tsp. dried thyme
    1/2 c. water

    Recipe

    Season the pork chops with salt and pepper to taste.
    Spray a heavy nonstick pan or Dutch oven type pan with nonstick cooking spray and place overa medium high heat.
    Cook the meat, 2 minutes per side, or until browned. Transfer the meat to a platter.
    Add the onion to the drippings in the pan and cook for 5 - 7 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Whisk in the remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil over a high heat.
    Return the meat and any accumulated juices back into the pan. Reduce the heat toa medium/low, cover, and cook for
    about 7 minutes, or until the meat is cooked.
